JACQUELINE MAE BOUDREAU by ALEX BARREDO

MODEL : JACQUELINE MAE BOUDREAU | PHOTOGRAPHER : ALEX BARREDO | HAIR & MAKE UP : JADEN STEVENSON | WARDROBE STYLIST : SIMAN HEER
A long time coming since this set was shot. Between delays with the completion of our website and being unable to schedule and complete an interview, this set has collected some dust. We wanted everything to be perfect for this release, but in the process we took too much time and it got lost in the shuffle. So we are excited we finally get to share this with everyone!

For this story we had the idea of shooting at a cemetery. A little dark and creepy, we know. We didn’t want to offend or disrespect anybody so we tried to be quick when shooting. We felt the cemetery and dark feels would fit Jacky’s vibe. She told us it was her kind of shoot which re assured us we had the perfect muse for this concept. We shot this at the Mountain View Cemetery in Vancouver B.C. The outfits were all black and with photographer Alex Barredo, we decided to keep it black and white to fit everything else with the shoot.

Jacky had been on our radar for faces to shoot so this was a real treat. She has a great portfolio and has worked with several great photographers, so we wanted to shoot something unique but also something she would be excited to be apart of as well. We feel like we accomplished that as this is one of our favorites shoots to date. We knew early we wanted to name this story HIRAETH. This was truly fitting as months later Jacky got a tattoo reading “HIRAETH” using the symbols we created!

For make up and hair we got good friend Jaden Stevenson to add her touch. If you’re in the Vancouver area be sure to check her out if you are looking to have your make up done. She is one of favorite people to work with. Not enough can be said about Jaden. She has helped out with several shoots. The same can be said about Alex Barredo. He has opened up so many avenues for us so we are forever grateful. He has become a very good friend and remains one of the top talents to shoot with in Vancouver. He has such a great vision and is incredibly talented. We are working on talking him into releasing some from his archives. He has so many unreleased stories that are mind blowing.

Thanks to everyone involved in this production. Special shout out to Sandy Deo from Ora Official for providing some accessories which we used for one of the looks. But with no further delay, just Breeze Magazine proudly presents #HIRAETH: Jacqueline Mae Boudreau by Alex Barredo.
